- 100% of your individual and 10% of your national contribution goes to our local Chapter. We are an IRS 501c3 and PR Treasury 1101 not-for-profit organization in Good Standing.
- You will be registered at the National USGBC Database and given a USGBC Member Number. This number will enable you to apply for LEED GA and LEED AP Certifications, track Continuing Education Credits, vote and obtain educational materials and information.
- Members vote to elect our officials.
- Members qualify to hold Chapter (or National) Board and Committee positions
- Members qualify for discounts on all Chapter or National events and educational materials.

The Membership Committee is responsible for:
membership applications, evaluating level of members’ satisfaction, membership renewals, assisting members in registration, planning membership meetings, membership benefits & services, orienting new members to the Chapter, identifying & developing Chapter leaders, developing Membership Strategies, Membership key staff, expanding Membership awareness, updating Membership information, maintaining a high professional image.
